Hosted by Kim J. Simpson, The International Folk Bazaar takes you on a weekly journey through global roots music, featuring a diverse mix of records and occasional live guests. The show has been a staple on KOOP Radio since 2008, with a brief hiatus between 2014-2016. Kim welcomes music submissions from all corners of the world.

Kim J. Simpson is a multifaceted musician, writer, and DJ based in Austin, Texas. As the author of Early '70s Radio (Bloomsbury), he’s also the voice behind the Song ID Blog and has DJed for both KOOP and KUTX. In addition to his own songwriting and guitar work, Kim has taught courses in music and culture at the University of Texas and Texas State University. He has also appeared as a commentator on documentaries such as "I Can Go For That: The Smooth World of Yacht Rock" (BBC) and "Music's Greatest Mysteries" (AXS TV).
