The International Folk Bazaar, "your duty-free folk music adventure hour," airs every Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on KOOP 91.7-FM. The show, mostly record excavation with the occasional live guest, features folk music from all over the world, revels in the folk genre's vague and problematic connotations, and is frequently a xenophobe's nightmare. Kim hosts Folkways on KUT 90.5-FM every other week. The show airs Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., right between Prairie Home Companion and All Things Considered, and features folk music with an American roots orientation. Kim alternates with the legendary Ed Miller. HOME
